Source: Four Russian oil firms buy fuel for Belarus from Safmar
MOSCOW, Feb 7 (PRIME) -- Four Russian oil companies – Lukoil, Rosneft, Gazprom Neft, and Tatneft – have started buying fuel for their fuel filling stations in Belarus from the Safmar group of companies, a source familiar with the matter told PRIME on Friday.
“Russian oil companies have started buying fuel for their fuel filling stations in Belarus from the Safmar group. Safmar will deliver oil products to them in February in order to support Russian business in Belarus,” the source said.
“The supplies will be done to the fuel filling stations of Lukoil, Rosneft, Gazprom Neft, and Tatneft.”
Belarusian refineries are working with Safmar under refining contracts, under which they send oil products to Safmar in return for its oil. Safmar will sell some of oil products that it gets back from the refineries to the Russian companies suffering from retail fuel deficit in Belarus, the source said.
